As 2024 comes to a close, the smartphone launch frenzy shows no signs of slowing down. With just a few weeks left in the year, a fresh wave of exciting new phones is heading to India. While many of them are premium Android models, there’s also an affordable 5G phone that could really shake things up. Here are five smartphones to look out for before the year wraps up:
Realme GT 7 Pro
This will be the first smartphone with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip to launch in India. Set to debut on November 26, realme’s latest flagship is being called one of the most powerful Android phones around. It’s expected to deliver top-tier hardware and software, and could also become one of the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Elite phones in the country.
Oppo Find X8 series
Oppo has just announced the launch of its new flagship series — the Find X8 and the Find X8 Pro — in India, set for November 21. Both phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip and focus on top-notch camera performance, featuring a Hasselblad-tuned camera setup. Other key features include a long-lasting silicon carbon battery, a Premium glass back design with an IP69 rating, and they will be the first smartphones in India to run on Android 15 with ColorOS 15.
IQOO 13
The iQOO 13, launching on December 3, will also feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Like the previous model, it continues its collaboration with BMW M Motorsport and will introduce a special Nardo Grey color, inspired by Italy’s famous racetrack. This high-performance Android phone will also come with a premium design and is expected to run Android 15 straight out of the box.
Vivo X200 series
Vivo’s flagship X series is famous for its amazing camera performance, and the new vivo X200 and X200 Pro are set to launch in India by early December. Like the Oppo Find X8 series, these phones are also powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip and feature a Zeiss-tuned camera setup. This time, vivo is putting a special focus on zoom, with a powerful 200 MP telephoto lens.
Redmi A4 5G
While all these flagship phones are making waves, Xiaomi is launching a budget-friendly option — the Redmi A4 5G. Powered by the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chip, and it is expected to be one of the most affordable 5G phone in India, priced under Rs 10,000. Set to launch on November 20, the Redmi A4 5G will feature a 50 MP main camera, a sleek glass back, and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate display.
